Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect as little as possible, we use it to talk to you about your project or your site, and we don't share or sell it. If you'd rather we deleted everything we have on you, email info@pebblesites.com and we will.
What we collect
When you fill out our quote form
Your name, email, a description of your business, and any notes you typed in. We store this in our email inbox and (if you sent it via our endpoint) a private record in our customer database.
When you become a customer
Billing details (handled by Stripe. We never see your card number), the domain we're building for you, the photos and copy you give us, and notes from our conversations.
When you visit this site
Standard server logs (your IP address, your browser, the page you requested, the time). If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool (Plausible or Fathom. Both cookie-less), we'll see aggregated visit counts but not who you are. We do not use Google Analytics or any cookie-based tracker.
What we don't collect
- Cookies for tracking (we don't set any third-party cookies)
- Behavioral data, heatmaps, session recordings
- Cross-site identifiers
- Anything from social-media pixels (we don't have any installed)
- Anything from your computer or phone outside what's needed to serve a page
What we do with it
We use what you give us to:
- Reply to your inquiry and figure out if we can help you
- Build the website you hired us to build
- Bill you (via Stripe) for the work
- Send you occasional emails directly related to your project
We don't:
- Send marketing emails or newsletters unless you specifically signed up for one
- Sell or rent your information to anyone, ever
- Share your data with marketing partners, analytics middlemen, or "value-added providers"
- Use what you said in our conversation to train AI models or sell to dataset brokers
Who else sees your data
Only the tools we need to run a business:
- Stripe: payment processing (your card, billing address)
- Email provider: your name & email (so we can reply to you)
- Our hosting provider: server logs while you visit this site
- Our database: your inquiry & project notes, encrypted at rest
That's it. No data brokers, no advertising partners, no analytics middlemen.
Your data, your call
You can ask us to:
- Show you everything we have on you. We'll respond within 7 days with an export
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete everything we have on you. We'll do it within 30 days, with the exception of records we're legally required to keep (e.g. tax invoices for the last 7 years)
- Stop emailing you: we will
Email info@pebblesites.com for any of the above. We'll write back within a business day to confirm and then do the thing.
Cookies
We don't set any third-party cookies on this site. We may set a single first-party cookie to remember a UI preference (like which pricing tier you last viewed), and that cookie never leaves our domain.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If a parent or guardian believes we have, please email info@pebblesites.com and we'll delete it immediately.
International
If you're outside the US, your data will be transferred to and stored in the US. We treat all customers the same regardless of jurisdiction. Meaning we apply GDPR-style protections (right to access, correct, delete, port) globally, not just for EU residents.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes (anything that actually affects what we collect or what we do with it) get a separate email to active customers at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
